Ferrari 400 - Manual (1977 to 1978)

The Ferrari 400 - Manual (a/k/a 400 GT) was the second iteration of a series of cars that included its predecessor, the 365 GT4 2+2, and the subsequent Ferrari 400i and the Ferrari 412. The 400 was the first Ferrari to have an automatic transmission as an option, the 400 Automatic. Made between 1977 and 1978, the 400 GT was powered by the same V12 as its predecessor, but received a slight displacement increase to 4.8 liters (as compared to 4.4 liters). The V12 used six side-draft Weber carburetors capable of 335 HP at 6200 rpm, sending drive to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Ferrari produced a total of 502 samples of the Ferrari 400, out of which 147 were GT (Manual) and the rest were automatic. It evolved into the Ferrari 400i - Manual in 1978.
