The Ferrari 488 GT3 is a racing version of the 488 GTB, designed for international GT championships. Its equipped with a 3.9L twin-turbo V8 engine and a race-tuned 6 speed sequential transmission, enabling quick and precise shifting under the demands of the track. It maintains a close relationship with the Ferrari 488 Challenge, as it shares architecture, engine and design concepts adapted from Ferrari's single-make cup versions, although optimized for the demands of the GT3 category.
