Fiat 124 Berlina (1966 to 1974)

Considered a "medium" size car by European standards, the Fiat 124 Berlina would be compact size by today's American standards and evokes comparisons to the Mini Cooper or even Japanese "Kei" cars. It was produced in two different versions: Sedan and Special. It was a replacement by the Italian manufacturer for the Fiat 1300. The versatile city car came in a four-door sedan body style. This modest front-engine, rear-wheel drive car offered two different inline four-cylinder engines during its lifespan. Fiat followed this popular model with the Fiat 131 in 1974.
