Fiat 131 Abarth Rally Race Cars (1976 to 1980)

While the Fiat 131 Abarth Rally caused quite the stir when it was released as the Stradale (road-going version) in 1976, it was the Rally version contained in this market that gave the Stradale the pedigree it has now. The Race version of the 131 Abarth Rally saw tremendous success in the World Rally Championship, winning Marrku Alén and Walter Röhrl drivers titles in 1978 and 1980 respectively. In addition to the drivers titles, the 131 Abarth Rally saw Fiat take 3 constructors titles in 1977, 1978, and 1980. Any race-driven 131 Abarth Rally is a car to be treasured, but race-winning or title-winning examples are prized amongst collectors.
