Ford Ranchero - 4th Gen (1968 to 1969)

The fourth generation of the Ford Ranchero was introduced for the 1968 model year. This generation saw the Ranchero grow in size to a full-size model, but it retained its coupe utility (pickup) body style. Notably, the 4th Gen Ranchero saw the introduction of a sportier GT variant, as well as a larger engine selection than previously. Engine options included a 250ci inline six, and a variety of V8 options that included a 302, 351, 390, and even the mighty 428 Cobra Jet. Both manual and automatic transmissions were offered, with drive sent to the rear wheels. Production of the 4th Gen Ranchero ended in 1969, when it was replaced by the 5th Gen Ford Ranchero.
