Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake - S-197 II (2010 to 2014)

The Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake was a high performance package for the S-197 II Shelby Mustang that was introduced for the 2010 model year. The Super Snake package was offered on new S-197 II GT500's or offered as a post-purchase package, providing substantial increases in power and dynamic capabilities. For 2010 through 2012 the Super Snake was powered by a 5.4L supercharged V8 engine. For 2013 and 2014, the engine was uprated to 5.8L, with power being sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual transmission. Additional variants include the 2012 GT500 Super Snake 50th Anniversary (treated here as a separate market) and the 2014 GT500 Super Snake Signature Edition. Both coupe and convertible versions of the S-197 II Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 Super Snake were built, some of which were optioned with the Wide Body.
