GMC K1000 - 1st Gen (1960 to 1966)

The GMC K1000 was a half-ton version of the 1st Gen GMC C/K that debuted for the 1960 model year. The K1000 offered as a four wheel drive pickup, with a selection of bed lengths and the choice between the fendered Fenderside or sleek Wideside truck beds. The only engine option available during the course of production was the 305ci V6, with manual or automatic transmission. Production of the 1st Gen GMC K1000 ended in 1966, when it was replaced by the 2nd Gen GMC K1500.
