GMC Jimmy - 1st Gen (1970 to 1972)

The first generation of GMC Jimmy was introduced for the 1970 model year, and was offered as a full size SUV fitted with a removable hardtop roof. The GMC Jimmy was an upmarket version of the Chevrolet K5 Blazer, and featured an inline six (250ci), and two V8 (307ci, 350ci) engine options. Production of the first generation Jimmy only lasted until 1972, when it was replaced by the Second Generation GMC Jimmy.
