Goggomobil was a brand of microcars that were introduced in 1955. The Goggomobil was built by the German automotive company Glas. Over a nearly 15 year production span, four main models were created: the <a href="https://www.classic.com/m/goggomobil/t-sedan/">T Sedan</a>, <a href="https://www.classic.com/m/goggomobil/ts-coupe/">TS Coupe</a>, <a href="https://www.classic.com/m/goggomobil/transporter/">Transporter</a>, and <a href="https://www.classic.com/m/goggomobil/dart/">Dart</a>. These cars all shared the same rear-engined platform, available with different displacement straight twin engines. Production of the Goggomobil ended in 1969.

The Goggomobil Transporter, also known as the TL, was a family of microcars introduced in 1957. The Transporter was originally commissioned by the German Federal Postal Service. These compact vans featured sliding front doors and were available in van, or pickup body styles. The Transporter were powered by a 245cc twin engine that generated 14hp and sent drive to the rear wheels. Production of the Goggomobil Transporter ended in 1965 with 3,667 examples built.

The Dart was built on a standard <a href="https://www.classic.com/m/goggomobil/">Goggomobil</a> platform, but featured a custom body style built by Buckle Motors. These bodies didn&#39;t have any doors, but had sleek roadster styling and a retractable folding top roof. The Dart was powered by a 300cc or 400cc inline two engine that was mounted in the rear and sent power to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. Production of the Goggomobil Dart lasted until 1961, with an estimated 700 examples built.
