Harley-Davidson, also commonly referred to as Harley, is an American motorcycle manufacturer that was established in 1903. Founded by William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson, the company originally began with the focus of building small engines for bicycles, but in a few years time, was already building complete motorcycles. Over the years, Harley-Davidson survived various owners as well as economic turmoil to become one of the world's most highly regarded motorcycle companies. While Harley-Davidson is most well known for its choppers, the company builds a wide range of other types of motorcycles, including cruisers.
