The Hudson Eight was a series of intermediate cars introduced in 1940. The Eight was only offered in 1940, and was the lowest priced "Eight" model built. The Eight was also known as the Model 44, and was available as a coupe, sedan, or convertible. Hudson fit the Eight with a 4.2L inline eight engine producing 128hp. Production of the Hudson Eight lasted for one year (1940), and the model was replaced by the Hudson Commodore.
