The second generation of Hudson Super Six was introduced in 1927. The second generation Super Six saw the model updated all around, including uprated mechanicals as well as a lower stance. A more powerful version of the first generation Super Six's 4.7L inline six was used, and a wide variety of open and closed body styles were available. Production of the second generation Super Six lasted until 1929, when the Hudson Great Eight was introduced. The Third Generation Hudson Super Six would not appear until 1933.
