Humber Limited was a British automotive manufacturer founded in 1887. Initially a manufacturer of motorcycles as well as automobiles, Humber turned its focus to automobiles in the 1930s. Known for high quality and engineering, Humber made a handful of notable vehicles, including the Snipe, the Imperial, and the Hawk. In 1967, Humber and its subsidiaries were purchased by the Chrysler Corporation, and continued making cars under new ownership until the marque was discontinued in 1976.
