Infiniti M - 3rd Gen (2006 to 2010)

The third generation of Infiniti M was introduced for the 2006 model year. This generation of Infiniti M was known as the Y50, and was offered in a four door sedan body style. The Y50 generation of M was based on the Nissan Fuga, and was the first generation of Infiniti M to feature two variants, the M35 and M45. In addition to the extra variant, the Y50 also featured all wheel drive variants as well as rear wheel drive variants. These cars were powered by a 3.5L (M35) or a 4.5L (M45) V8 engine, both of which were paired to a 5 speed automatic transmission, which was upgraded to a 7 speed automatic from 2009. Production of the third generation Infiniti M ended in 2010, but was replaced by the Fourth Generation Infiniti M.
