Iso Isetta (1953 to 1958)

The Iso Isetta was a series of microcars introduced in 1953. The Isetta featured a distinctive egg-like design and large windows leading to many people calling it the "bubble-car." This line of cars was powered by a compact 236cc two cylinder engine located in front of the rear wheels. Alongside the standard body style, both van and pickup truck variants were offered. The Isetta was licensed to numerous other manufacturers, with the most famous being the BMW Isetta. Although Italian production of the Iso Isetta ended in 1955, Spanish production continued until 1958.
