Jaguar E-Type Lightweight Continuation - Series 1 (1963 to 1963)

In 2014, Jaguar announced that it would produce six brand-new examples of the iconic Lightweight E-Types. Like with the D-Type and XKSS Continuations, these cars were made exactly as the originals and even have chassis numbers that continue from the last numbers used during production in the 1960s. Jaguar Classic had bodies built using the exact techniques used in the sixties to form aluminum and utilizing materials with specs identical to those available then, ensuring authenticity and eligibility for historic events. Aside from the 6-car production run, Jaguar Classic built a seventh car that was used for promotional purposes before the other six were built.
