The Jaguar F-Type S was a sporty variant of the 1st Gen F-Type that debuted for the 2014 model year. The F-Type S shared the engine with the Base Model, a supercharged 3.0L V6, but now uprated to 375hp (a 40hp gain over the base) allowing the car to achieve acceleration from 0-62mph an impressive 4.8 seconds. This S model came in both a coupe and a convertible. In 2013-2014 there was a short production with the S model equipped with a supercharged 5.0L V8 engine, producing a proper 488hp and 461 lb/ft.
