Jeep J-2000 (1972 to 1973)

The Jeep J-2000 was a variant of the Jeep J-Series that debuted for the 1972 model year. The J-2000 a half-ton, four wheel drive pickup truck. These trucks were offered with a standard 258 cubic inch inline six engine, or an optional V8, a 360 cubic inch unit. These engines were paired to manual or automatic transmission options. While part time four wheel drive was standard, Jeep's Quadra-Trac full-time four wheel drive was optional. Production of the Jeep J-2000 lasted until 1973, when the model series was renamed to the Jeep J-10.
