The Manhattan was the top of the line variant for the Frazer. Introduced in 1947, the Manhattan represented the top offering from Kaiser-Frazer. Available in both convertible and sedan body styles, the Manhattan was powered by a 3.7L inline six engine sending power to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission. Production of the Frazer Manhattan ended in 1951, when Joseph W Frazer left Kaiser-Frazer, and the Frazer was discontinued. The Manhattan name would continue in the Kaiser lineup, as the Kaiser Manhattan.
