The Manhattan was a variant of the Kaiser introduced for the 1952 model year. Previously, Kaiser-Frazer had used the Manhattan name for the Frazer Manhattan, but this new iteration was built as part of the Kaiser lineup. The Kaiser Manhattan was available in a four door sedan body style, and was powered by a 3.7L inline six engine sending drive to the rear wheels via a four speed automatic transmission. Production of the Kaiser Manhattan ended in early 1955 when Kaiser Motors Corporation ended automotive manufacturing in the United States.
