The Kissel Motor Car Company, active from 1906 to 1931 in Hartford, Wisconsin, was an American manufacturer renowned for producing quality, well-built automobiles suited to both luxury and everyday use. Throughout its history, it produced a wide range of vehicles that reflected the evolution of the automobile in America. Its earliest models included the Model D and Model 30, both with 4 cylinder engines and various body styles. Later the Six and Eight models were presented, each with said inline cylinders engines respectively. The brand was valued for its innovation, reliability and style, but it couldn't withstand the consolidation of the industry and the arrival of the Great Depression, closing its doors in 1931.
