Koenigsegg CCR (2004 to 2007)

The Koenigsegg CCR is the third car built by the Swedish boutique car manufacturer, introduced in 2004. These supercars had a mid-rear engine layout, with a 4.7L twin-supercharged V8 that generated 806hp. Managing the power was a manual six-speed transmission, directing power to the rear wheels. The body was built from a mix of carbon fiber and Kevlar, making the car rigid and lightweight. Just 14 examples were built by the time production ended in 2006. Koenigsegg replaced the CCR with the CCX.
