Lada Classic (1980 to 2012)

The Lada Classic was a family of cars that first debuted in 1980. The Classic, which was also sold as the Riva in certain markets, was based on the Fiat 124, and was built in sedan, station wagon, and pickup body styles. Each body style and version had its own number designation (which was often used as a model designation in various foreign markets) used to denote variants. These models were: 2104 (wagon, pickup), 2105 (sedan), and 2107 (deluxe sedan). Over the course of production, a range of inline four engines was available, ranging from 1.2L to 1.7L. As well as gasoline options, a 1.5L diesel inline four was offered. All engines were paired to manual transmissions, with power going to the rear wheels. Production of the Lada Classic ended in 2012.
