La Forza (1989 to 2003)

The LaForza was a series of SUVs that were introduced in 1989. Known as the Rayton-Fissore Magnum in Europe, these cars were marketed as the LaForza exclusively in the United States. These four door SUVs were designed by famed designer Tom Tjaarda, with its design updated for the US market by Pininfarina. Although European versions had a variety of engines, North American examples were largely powered by a 5.0L V8 engine paired to an automatic transmission, with drive sent to all four wheels. Late in production, a supercharged 6.0L V8 engine was available, but very few examples were fitted with this engine. Production of the LaForza ended in 2003.
