The Lamborghini Murciélago 40th Anniversary Edition was a limited production variant of the Lamborghini Murciélago that was offered for the 2003 model year. Created to celebrate Lamborghini's 40th Anniversary, these special edition cars were only offered in a coupe bodystyle that was painted in 'Verde Artemis,' which was an exclusive turquoise color. In addition to the special color, these cars featured various unique interior and exterior cosmetic touches, as well as a numbered plaque. Although mechanically identical to the Base Model Murciélago, the Lamborghini Murciélago 40th Anniversary Edition is still a very desirable variant, with just a total of 50 examples built.
