Land Rover Defender (1984 to 2026)

The Land Rover Defender, initially named Ninety and OneTen, is a family of all wheel drive off-roaders that was introduced for the 1984 model year as a successor to the legendary Land Rover Series. There have been three generations of Defender: 90/110 (1983-1990), L316 (1990-2016) and L663 (2020-). The L316 was the first generation that officially got the legendary Defender name as well as updated powertrains in 1990, while the recent 3rd Gen L663 Defender saw the model move upmarket, adding luxury and refinement to the well-known all terrain abilities in 2020. Today the Defender is one of the automotive world's most well known and loved models.
