Lordstown Motors was an American company founded in 2018 with the goal of manufacturing electric pickups, like the Endurance, for the commercial market. It purchased a GM plant in Ohio and went public in 2020, but soon faced financial difficulties, accusations of fake orders, and the resignation of its executives. In 2023, it filed for bankruptcy and in 2024 re-emerged as Nu Ride Inc., although no longer manufacturing vehicles.
