Mazda6 (2003 to 2008)

The Mazda6 was designed as a replacement for the Mazda 626 in 2002. It is a four-door sedan that could also be ordered as a wagon or five-door "liftback."  The first-generation automobiles in the United States were equipped with a V6, with different engine options available in overseas markets. In 2006 the MazdaSpeed6 model variant was introduced as a "high-performance" package that featured AWD and a 2.3L Turbocharged I4.
