Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet A - W191 (1949 to 1952)

The Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet A was introduced in 1949 and was offered in two body styles. The Cabriolet A was a two seats open top car. The 170S Cabriolet A was fitted with Mercedes´ M136 1.8L inline 4 engine that produced 52hp. Power was sent to the rear wheels through a four speed synchromesh manual transmission. The 170 S Cabriolet A short lived in production years due to the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz 220.
