Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG - C215 (2005 to 2006)

The Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG was a performance focused variant of the second generation C215 CL-Class that debuted for the 2005 model year. The CL 65 AMG was the top offering for the C215 generation. These cars were powered by Mercedes' M275 engine, which was a 6.0 L twin-turbo V12 powerplant that generated 603hp and 738 lb ft of torque. This power was sent to the rear wheels through a 5 speed automatic transmission. The C215 CL65 AMG was built in limited numbers, with just 777 examples built before production ended in 2006. The model series would continue life in the next generation C216 CL-Class as the C216 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG.
