The 180b was one three evolutions of the 180 (1953-1957) available right after the 180a (1957-1959) and before the 180c (1961-1962). The 180b was fitted with Mercedes' M121 engine, which was a 65hp, 1.9L inline four. This engine saw small updates for the 180c with small torque and horsepower increases. Production of the W120 Mercedes-Benz 180b ended in 1961 with a total of 29,415 examples built.
