Mercedes-Benz SLK - R172 (2012 to 2020)

The last generation of the Mercedes-Benz SLK, the R172 was introduced in 2011. Like its predecessor, the R172 was available with an inline-4, a V6, or a V8 for the AMG variant. R172 variants included the SLK250 BlueEFFICIENCY, SLK350 BlueEFFICIENCY, and the SLK55 AMG. A Diesel variant was also offered as the SLK 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY. In 2015, Mercedes changed the name of the R172 from SLK-Class to SLC-Class, in order to fall in with their new naming style. Renamed variants included the SLC 300 and SLC43 AMG.
