Mercury Monterey S-55 - 6th Gen (1966 to 1967)

The Mercury S-55 was the high-performance variant of the 6th Gen Mercury Monterey. Introduced for the 1966 model year, the S-55 was offered in both coupe or convertible body styles. Only one engine option was available, a 428ci V8 with 345hp. For the 1967 model year, the S-55 became officially known as the S-55 Sports Package, before being discontinued before 1968.
