Messerschmitt KR175 (1953 to 1955)

Debuting in 1953, the KR175 was the first variant of the Messerschmitt Kabinenroller introduced. The KR175, named for its 173cc single cylinder engine, featured two front wheels and a driven rear wheel. Mostly offered as a bubble-top coupe, a limited production "Sportster" roadster was also built. This first iteration of the Kabinenroller was produced until 1956, when it was replaced with the much improved Messerschmitt KR200.
