After its introduction in 1955, the MGA quickly became a popular choice to go racing. MG A race cars competed next to Austin-Healy’s, Triumph’s and various other GT cars from its day. In 1955 MG attended the 24 Hours of Le Mans with 3 factory works cars and 1 spare, reaching the finish-line with two of them in 12th and 17th place overall. The MGA also took part in many of the worlds most renowned races including Sebring, the Monte Carlo Rally, and even going to Boneville Salt Flats , where it achieved numerous land speed records. The MGA is till a very popular car for vintage racing all over the world and is still as spectacular as it was in the 1950’s.
