Mini Cooper Hardtop - 1st Gen (2001 to 2006)

The hardtop version of the first generation Mini Cooper was introduced in 2001. The first generation base model Cooper was fitted with a 1.6L inline four engine, and was also offered as a Convertible. Mini also produced a sporty variant of the hardtop known as the Cooper S Hardtop. Production of the first generation Cooper hardtop ended in 2006, when it was replaced by the Second Generation Mini Cooper Hardtop.
