Nissan Patrol - 160 Series (1980 to 1989)

The 160-series Nissan Patrol was a more modern iteration of the classic 60-series, with updated angular styling. The 160 series was available in 3-door and 5-door styles, as well as a 3-door soft-top and a pickup truck. Multiple engines were available - from a 2.4-liter four, and a pair of inline 6 cylinders in either 2.8 or 4.0 liters - even a 3.2-liter diesel was offered. A variant of the 160 series was the 260 series, a facelifted version of the Spanish-built 160. The 160 series was succeeded by the Y60 generation in 1987.
