Nissan Sentra - B11 - 1st Gen (1982 to 1986)

The B11 was introduced in 1982 as the first generation of the Nissan Sentra. It was offered in several body styles including sedans, coupes, hatchbacks and station wagons. It was equipped with inline four engines ranging from 1.3L up to 1.6L, with carburetor or fuel-injection options. Available transmissions included 4 and 5-speed manuals, as well as a 3-speed automatic with power sent to the front wheels. It was a key model in Nissan's expansion into markets such as the United States and Latin America, where it was notable for its fuel economy, reliability and low maintenance costs. The first generation B11 Nissan Sentra was produced until 1986, when it was replaced by the B12.
