Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür & V-Spec Nür - R34 (2002 to 2002)

The Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nür and V-Spec II Nür were limited production variants of the R34 Skyline GT-R that were the final variants created for the R34 GT-R. The Nür GT-R's, were named after the famed Nürburgring race track where the Skyline saw a large part of its development, and were offered in both M-Spec and V-Spec II trims. While largely similar, there were a few differences between the offerings. The M-Spec featured revised suspension which included a stiffer rear sway bar and "Ripple control" dampers, as well as an aluminium hood and leather interior. The V-Spec had a carbon fiber hood, a cloth interior, and stiffened suspension. Both of these cars were fitted with the RB26DETT twin-turbo inline six engine, which in Nür spec, had larger turbochargers which allowed for greater boost. This engine was rated at 276hp, but this is known to be underreported due to the gentleman's agreement between Japanese auto manufacturers to limit vehicles to 276hp. The actual power developed by this engine is closer to 330hp. A total of 1,003 examples of the R34 GT-R Nür were built, with 718 V-Spec II and 285 M-Spec produced.
