The 280ZX was available in both manual or automatic, and featured a t-top body style with a 2 seater or 2+2 configuation. At the time of its release into the US market, the 280ZX Turbo was the fastest Japanese import on the American market. Its direct successor was the Nissan 300ZX Turbo (Z31) in 1984.
