Packard Eight - 4th Gen (1948 to 1950)

The fourth generation of Packard Eight was introduced for the 1948 model year. The Eight name was reborn after Packard dropped 'Clipper' from its model names. The fourth generation Eight featured Clipper styling, and was fitted with a 4.7L inline eight engine. This new generation of Eight was offered in two sedan body styles, as well as a "Station Sedan" wood trimmed station wagon. Production of the Packard Eight ended in 1950.
