Peugeot 205 CTI 1.6 (1985 to 1992)

In 1985, a cabriolet version of the 205 GTI was unveiled. Known as the 205 CTI, it was designed by Pininfarina even though Peugeot´s design team argues it was their own creation. The first version launched was the 1.6, with no notable differences in powertrain with the 205 GTI 1.6, it was powered by a 105bhp 1.6-litre engine that delivered its power using a 5 speed manual gearbox. Peugeot would later introduce a version with a larger engine, known as the 205 CTI 1.9.
