The Pierce-Arrow Model 81 was a series of cars that was introduced for the 1928 model year. The Model 81 was the follow-up to the Pierce-Arrow Model 80, and was offered in a range of body styles, including convertible coupe, sedan, runabout, and brougham. This family of cars was powered by a 4.7L inline six engine that generated 75hp. This engine sent its power through a 3 speed manual transmission to drive the rear wheels. Production of the Pierce-Arrow Model 81 was limited to the 1928 model year, before it was replaced by the Pierce-Arrow Eight.
