Porsche 935 (1976 to 1981)

The Porsche 935 was a race car developed and manufactured by German automaker Porsche. Introduced in 1976 as the factory racing version of the 911 (930) Turbo and prepared for FIA-Group 5 rules, it was an evolution of the Carrera RSR 2.1 turbo prototype which was the second place overall finisher in the 1974 24 Hours of Le Mans. Because of the highly successfull racing carreer of the 935, street and non-street legal replicas have been introduced by third-party tuners such as Kremer and DP Motorsports, vehicles that can be found in the 930 Custom market. Factory original versions acheive the highest price points in the market and are exceedingly rare. In late 2018, Porsche introduced an all new Porsche 935 (935/19) as a track-day only car, limited to 77 samples.
