Based on the Porsche GT3 991 cup car, the 2014 Porsche 911 GT America was built for competition in the United Sports Car Racing series. The car itself differs from the GT3 with a larger capacity 4.0L motor and rear spoiler to meet competition standards. The monocoque body is constructed of steel and aluminum, and the flat-six engine generates 470hp to its rear wheels, managed by a 6-speed sequential gearbox.
