The Porsche Cayenne S was one of the first variants of the First Generation Porsche Cayenne Type 955 to be introduced. The Cayenne S debuted for the 2003 model year alongside its bigger brother, the 955 Cayenne Turbo, as the first versions of the Porsche Cayenne to hit the road. The 955 Cayenne S was powered by a 4.5L V8 engine with an output of 335hp and 310 lb ft of torque that sent drive to all four wheels via a 6 speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmission. For the final year of 995 Cayenne S production, Porsche introduced a special Titanium Edition, which featured improved suspension, reduced weight, and various accents around the car. Production of the 955 Porsche Cayenne S ended in 2006 before being replaced for the 2008 model year by the 957 Porsche Cayenne S.
