The Rambler Ambassador was a series of mid-sized cars introduced in 1958. The Rambler Ambassador was the successor to the Nash Ambassador, and went through various names, such as Ambassador V-8 by Rambler, but was regardless of the name, the model was the same. The Ambassador was largely sold as a sedan or station wagon, but late in its production life, convertible variants were available. 1965 would be the last year of Rambler Ambassador production, as in 1966, the name moved officially to the AMC brand as the AMC Ambassador.
