Rambler American - 1st Gen (1958 to 1960)

The first generation of Rambler American was introduced for the 1958 model year. The first generation American was available as a two or four door sedan, two door station wagon, and sedan delivery. All Rambler Americans for this generation were fitted with a 3.2L inline six engine, and included Deluxe, Super, and Custom as trim levels. Production of the first generation American ended in 1960, when the Second Generation Rambler American was unveiled.
