The Renault Type MT debuted in 1923 and was partially designed by Louis Renault and considered a sports compact car with room for no more than three. It was a car for people of middle-class means. The MT featured the distinct sloping nose with no grill that the Renault's of this period were known for. The 15hp inline four "6CV" engine briskly moved passengers at speeds of up to 43mph. Production ended in 1924 and the Renault NN succeeded the MT.
