Rolls-Royce Phantom III (1936 to 1939)

The Rolls-Royce Phantom III is the third generation of the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Introduced in 1936, the Phantom III was sold as a rolling chassis, with bodywork done by a coachbuilder of the owner's choosing. The Phantom III was fitted with a 7.4L V12 engine and was built until late 1939, although certain cars were bodied and completed into 1941. After the end of World War 2, the Phantom re-entered production with the Rolls-Royce Phantom IV.
